Homecoming Festivities and Family

This past week was short, but jam packed.  It was homecoming week at school, so each day had a theme.  This was twin day (or in our case, triplet day)
Throwback Thursday.  The students got a real kick out of this wig.  One even thought I was a sub!
Grant had been chosen to be in the homecoming court this year as a crown bearer.  We had practice with the high school students one morning.

I loved how afterwards he tried every way to convince me he didn't need to go back to school.  He said, "But I'm smart, I can miss one day!".  Nice try.
Friday, Daniel's mom and grandmother came in and good thing they did, because Reagan got a stomach virus.
Grant still got to come do the pep rally though.
 So handsome!
Grant and Vivian before the game.
We sat by this statue the whole time.  He and Will had a great time on it, pretending to hunt.
He LOVED getting to run through the tunnel where the football players come out.

Grant had the cutest partner, Aley.
He wore me out running around and hunting with that lion.  This is how I had to calm him down so he wouldn't be sweaty for halftime.

They both did a great job!
Reagan felt better, but gave her sickness to Daniel's mother.  Grant was worn out.  Notice all that cheese on his shirt from the nachos at the game.
Everyone was doing well, so we packed up early the next morning for Washington, TX for a family reunion.  The house was on this hill, what a view!  If you looked far enough, you could see Kyle Stadium at A&M.
Grant found a 5th cousin just his age to play with.

My Dad visiting with one of 16 first cousins on this side of the family.

Vivian got to go with us as well.

After that, we drove home and got ready for the Fall Festival at our church.  We were all worn out so we didn't stay too long.  We were a family of Star Wars.  Princess Leia, Stormtrooper, Ewok, and Obo Won Knobi.

She insisted on being called "Dorothy", not Vivian.

2 Jedi Knights facing each other.

 Tired little Ewok.
The next morning, we saw a little more of Reagan's stomach bug, then I got it.  I stayed home today.  I think I needed a vacation from this weekend!

Orange Everywhere!

Grant tested for his orange belt recently.  I love watching his concentration and determination!
After his test...
I recently had a Pampered Chef freezer meal party at my house.  My friends and I turned these treats into 10 freezer meals.

The weather is turning cooler and we hit the pumpkin patch that we always visit.
Vivian decided to show up as Snow White.  Poor girl got stung by a bee as soon as we got there.  But she toughened it out for pictures.
