Grant's 1st Rangers Game

We got an email a few weeks back about the SFA Alumni Association having seats at the Rangers game for a discount.  They were also in the all you can eat section, under the home run porch.  We decided this would be a great opportunity to take Grant to his first Rangers game.  We took our friends Eric and D'Ana with us.
All you can eat chips and cheese?  This made Grant one happy boy!
Lets Go Rangers...but first, a selfie!

The many faces of Grant throughout the night.

Halfway through the game, he got a little bored so we let him stand up for a bit.
The Rangers were losing horribly to the Astros, so we went to the kids play area.
Daniel relaxed in the a/c while Grant played.  It was the hottest day of the year so far.
 Grant's souvenir, a monkey.
We lost horribly to the Astros.
But you still gotta love the game!

Pirates and Pixies

Vivian turned 4 this past week and her party theme was Pirate and Pixies (because she loves the Peter Pan story).
My brother always knows how to liven a party!

We ate 'fish and chips', 'peg legs', 'gold nuggets' and 'cheesy hooks'.
 Captain Frank joining the fun.
Reagan loved on anyone who would give her Cheetos!

Independence Day

My brother and the rest of his family (since my nephew was already here) came in for the 4th of July.  We spent the afternoon swimming, eating, and talking. Some of the best parts of this holiday.
Abby had a great time pushing Claire in the swing.
 My bathing beauty.
Harrison got the pool for the first time and is eating his first popsicle.
Action shots in the pool with the app, QuickPix:

When night came, we watched fireworks and the kids enjoyed glow sticks.
Reagan didn't care about the fireworks.  She enjoyed her own glow stick pile.

Cousin Fun '14: Part 1

Fletcher came in to visit for the week.  We started off the week by watching Grant his award for t-ball
The next day was Vivian's 4th birthday.  We went to Hawaiian Falls Waterpark.

"Do I have cheetos on my face?"
Daniel was showing off his new swimsuit, Bazinga!
Reagan had a wonderful time with the 'river walk'

The even blew bubbles in it.
Lately she has been obsessed with watermelon.  If she even see it she will have a fit until she gets some.  She'll eat so much, I don't know where she puts it all.
Much fun + a full belly = nap time.

Wednesday, we went to the C.R. Smith Museum at American Airlines headquarters.
Along with the American Airlines exhibit, the they had a Lego Castle Adventure exhibit.

I told Fletcher to help this guy (statue) fix the tires on the plane.  I'm pretty sure slapping him doesn't help!
 Sitting in a plane engine.

One of the first passenger commercial planes.

These large seats where everywhere.  I wish all airlines had these big seats, no matter how much you pay!
Here we are watching the IMAX movie about AA and aviation
 Even Reagan paid attention (somewhat).
 On to the Lego exhibit.

 Princess Reagan
Wednesday, we took these kiddos to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2".  Grant had already seen it with Daniel, so they stayed home.
Thursday, we had a 4th of July celebration at church.

 Snow Cones!
I said, "Fletcher, let's do a selfie.  Do you know what a selfie is?"  Fletcher says, "Yes, but I'm not good at them."  Haha, well apparently!
Part 2 to be continued in August!
